Bleyer Lindy Lace

The Bleyer Lindy Lace shoes are light and stylish lace-up swing dance practice shoes with zigzag cut edges. These shoes come as black & white with soft matt leather uppers as standard. The soles have been specially made to enhance your movement across the dance floor.

The Bleyer Lindy Lace is available in black & white in a soft matt finish as standard. We have a limited number of red & white shoes available in stock (sizes available in drop-down options) but if you are looking for red & white in a different size or if you're looking for any other colour combination, we can help. You can make a special order with ANY colour combinations on the Bleyer Lindy Lace, special orders are one-off productions so they take a little longer and there is a surcharge, get in touch to find out more!  

How The Shoes Fit

The Bleyer Lindy Lace is available as standard in Bleyer size 35 to 50 (covering UK 2 to 13). Bleyer shoes are marked with European sizes and they tend to fit approximately one size small compared to typical European sizes. So, for example if you normally wear a European 38 you would probably want a Bleyer 39.

The Bleyer Lindy Lace style is popular with ladies and gentleman alike. These shoes are produced on a Unisex last and fit the same as other Bleyer models including the Boogie Woogie, Rock'n'Roll and Saddles, most people find these shoes a comfortable fit. Those with particularly wide feet might prefer to try shoes produced on a wider last, such as the Bleyer Charleston or Bleyer Balboa.  

As we are a UK based site, UK sizes are listed first in our drop-down options. We have used our experience to translate the Bleyer sizes to UK sizes. This means that there are half sizes in some, but not all, UK sizes. This is simply as a result of the translations, so if your feet are a half size that is not listed, we would normally suggest that you select the next half size up. If you’re still not sure which size to select please call or email for advice. About The Uppers

The Bleyer Lindy Lace is a lace-up shoe with zig zag detailing. The uppers on the matt finish shoes are soft leather. There is integrated heel-padding, but Bleyer recommend purchasing the Bleyer Insole (code 4423) with these shoes to soften the impact on your joints whilst dancing.

About The Soles & The Heels

The Bleyer Lindy Lace has a single flat sole to help you stay closer to the ground and feel the floor whilst dancing. From Bleyer 34-47, the sole is the PU-Sole with a spin spot, whilst the sizes 48-50 are fitted with Poro-sole. Both have remained popular with jive and swing dancers for many years, which make these is ideal practice shoe. Both soles types are non-staining and have enough movement to help you slide, swivel and glide easily across the floor. It will give you more sure-footed confidence than leather or suede, which makes it great for aerials.
